Welcome To The A-Team.org

Celebrating 25+ years of The A-Team!

Site launched 22nd July 2008 - 25th anniversary of the series in the UK

FINALLY UPDATED AGAIN - Friday 30th July 2010

This site uses the STENCIL font. If you don't have it, get it HERE. (For personal use only)

This site is best experienced with your speakers turned on!

Welcome to 'The A-Team Captured', which sets out to be the most detailed and comprehensive A-Team fan site on the 'Net!

There are a lot of good A-Team sites out there, but at lot of them share similar (and 'borrowed') material. I wanted to created something more original, comprehensive and in depth. What I aim to provide here is a very detailed guide to the series and each episode.

Each episode will eventually have it's own highly detailed capsule, with cast details, plot overview, reviews, trivia, bloopers, and many other things relating to the episode. I am also a huge fan of many other classic shows of the era ('The Dukes of Hazzard', 'Magnum p.i.', 'Knight Rider', 'Airwolf' et al.), so there will also be many cross-references to many other popular classics.
The site is designed for fans the world over; I am in the United Kingdom, and also aim to reflect the British end of things, with scans from British magazines and suchlike.

~*~  After a year or so of sparse updates, the site is now being updated pretty much daily, so add us to your favourites, and tell your fellow A-Team fans! =)   ~*~

What's New

30/07/2010 - Greetings A-Team fans. Yes I still exist! No updates since... March?! Wow. Bad me! I have a new job, looking for somewhere new to live, and other mundane life-esque things, so haven't had much time to put in on the site (a hard disk crash didn't help, though luckily I had everything backed up).

If you've emailed me, I apologise for not replying yet; I confess to not checking the site inbox for several months, and shall try to get back to you over the weekend.

Of course, the big-screen A-Team movie is in cinemas now - expect my personal review in a day or two.

Stay tuned.

10/03/2010 - I MET MY HERO - DIRK "THE FACEMAN" BENEDICT HIMSELF!

For those who don't know, Dirk is touring in the U.K. playing Lieutenant Columbo in 'Prescription: Murder'. This week it arrived just a few miles away from me at Theatre Royal, Windsor, so I just HAD to go. My friend (a casual 'A-Team' fan) and I booked tickets, and went last night. We loved the play. Afterwards, Dirk was kind enough to sign autographs and pose for photos.

I had never been so nervous in all my life, which made me end up babbling like a loon (Murdock's got nothing on me!) I think I inadvertently insulted my hero - I could see he was exhausted; some people (some who hadn't even seen the play, which was a bit cheeky) had stacks of things for him to autograph. I commented I could see he was very tired and was kind to stop and sign everything - but he took it that I was saying he looks tired nowadays hehe. Thankfully, I think he took it in good jest, and was soon laughing and chatting again, and kindly signed a photo for me and posed for photo.

He also commented how he thought it was terrible that Starbuck in the newer version of 'Battlestar: Galactica' was a woman, and how bad the new 'A-Team' film is - couldn't quite tell if he was joking on that one or not.

Dirk gives a great performance as Columbo, and if you are in the U.K. I highly recommended getting to see it. Check out the official website HERE (opens in new window) to see if and when it's coming to your area.

(Oh, and "just one more thing" (to quote Columbo) - Yes I know how chubby I look in the photo!! And I didn't eat any Easter Eggs or anything!! I think I'm off out for a run now!)

21/03/2010 - It might seem as if there haven't been many updates lately; well, I've been tweaking a few pages, and.... (drum roll), there is finally a new EPISODE REVIEW CAPSULE up - A SMALL AND DEADLY WAR. An in-depth look at this first season episode, with plot synopsis, notes, bloopers, guest cast notes, and just about anything else I could think of!

The next episode, 'Black Day at Bad Rock', is already in the works! Note that I won't be doing each and every episode in order - I'll do a few in broadcast order, then jump to certain episodes and back again. If there is a particular episode you'd like to recommend to be covered, post your suggestion on the FORUM.

27/02/2010 - Another RAINBOW BOOK & CASSETTE entry, 'Bugs in the Box', is up, as part of the MERCHANDISE section. Also, I haven't made a BLOG entry for a while, so I've made amends with a BIG entry on the forthcoming movie. READ IT HERE!

19/02/2010 - I've added a page in the MERCHANDISE section covering the U.K. ANNUALS. Full scans are coming soon, but for now, there is a run down of each one, with relevant notes, and comments on which are the rarer ones to find.

13/02/2010 - Slightly later than I hoped, due to trouble converting the ancient, worn cassette, but the first RAINBOW BOOK & CASSETTE, 'You Lose, Snake's Eyes', is finally up for you to read and hear! Access it through the MERCHANDISE menu. Also, the main page was getting a bit cluttered, so I've trimmed it down a bit - but for a full history of updates (including coverage of the 2010 movie), CLICK HERE.
