Bloopers, NITPICKS & THINGS TO SPOT

A first season publicity shot

The series in general was very slickly produced, but that's not to say there wasn't the odd blooper or nitpick. Sometimes it would be a continuity error, sometimes it would be recycled footage to cut corners, or sometimes it would be something else. And then of course, sometimes there were the obvious examples where doubles were being used for stunts, etc. Listed here is a rundown of some of the bloopers and other things to spot in the episodes, as well as notable instances where footage or in-episode music was recycled. More pictures to follow in due course.

(I have an even more detailed list, with at least one for every episode, but it is buried on one of my old hard disks. I'll try and find it and add them in due course)

Common nitpicks include:

bullet

Stunt double spots - When a double was used for one of the team

bullet

Recycled footage - Footage that originally came from another episode, or pre-existing footage (note, very common stock footage of the A-Team van, either driving along the street or in the country, are not listed (yet at least))

bullet

Re-recorded dialogue - Commonly known as ADR or 'looping', sometimes sections of dialogue will be re-recorded after filming, due to the like of background noise on the original, or sometimes to alter the wording slightly

bullet

Recycled music - Unlike many shows, 'The A-Team' had a score written specifically for each episode. But this didn't stop certain pieces being recycled now and again.

To start with, a few nitpicks for the series as a whole:

bullet

Why do the staff at the V.A. hospital never recognise Face when he comes to break Murdock out? He seldom wears a disguise. You'd think they'd have a big picture up saying "Beware of this man!".

bullet

Both B.A.'s van, and (to a lesser extent) Face's Corvette sometimes appear from nowhere, no matter where the team are located. They also subsequently disappear - often the team seem to leave them behind, only for them to reappear again.

bullet

Why do the Military Police sometimes recognise B.A.'s van, but on other occasions fail to recognise it? What's more, it's very distinctive, making it hard to forget.

bullet

When Valdez is looking for Al Massey, he has a white shirt on. But when they are chasing Massey's truck, in shots of Valdez in the jeep, he suddenly has a different coloured shirt on (these shots seem to have been filmed from later in the story, where The A-Team are chasing the bandits out of town).

bullet

Amy's colleague Zack seems to be some kind of time traveller - the pictures of Lynch, Hannibal, B.A. and Face that he shows Amy are all from scenes later in the story. Lynch is from where he visits Murdock at the V.A.  hospital; Hannibal is from where he is captured by the bandits; B.A. is from after he wakes up and gets out of the car in Mexico; and Face is from where he breaks Murdock out of the hospital!

bullet

On the chase around the film set, the double for Face can be seen in several shots to be wearing sunglasses. But Face in the close up shots is not - he removed them when he was talking to Hannibal.

bullet

On the original film prints of this story, when the first of Colonel Lynch's two backup cars careers through the bush and falls into the lake, there is a black line on the bottom two thirds or so of the screen, where there seemed to be some problem where the shot was filmed. On later videotape prints, the picture is zoomed in to eliminate the black line.

bullet

If you are very sharp eyed, you can spot a slight jump in the film - after the tour bus has gone through the 'separated' waters, there is a slight jump as we see the Aquamaniac following behind in the convertible.

bullet

When Hannibal submerges Lynch's car on the Moses film set, there is a shot of the water flowing backwards! After the first shot of the car being submerged ,there is a shot of Hannibal smiling, then look carefully - the water is rising back out of the river and going back into the spouts on the side.

bullet

At the end of the scene where Amy visits Murdock at the hospital, Murdock's final line is "...and wait until you're contacted". But this line was obviously added in post-production, as it is clear that he does not say it on-screen.

bullet

Nitpick: Colonel Lynch goes to visit Murdock at the V.A. Hospital, certain that he is not really insane and is still working with The A-Team. The team have been wanted for ten years, why has Lynch taken so long to visit?

bullet

When Colonel Lynch is visiting Murdock at the hospital, some of his dialogue, such as "...You were The A-Team's pilot in 'Nam..." is clearly ADR'd.

bullet

Many videotape prints of this story have a slight audio problem at one point - on the jet, when Hannibal and Face strap B.A. in as he starts to wake up, the audio dips for a few seconds over Face's dialogue, making it hard to hear what he is saying.

bullet

When "Mr. Lee" (Hannibal) wakes Amy up in her car, her arm jumps from rubbing her neck to being down by her side in one shot.

bullet

The stock shots of the front of the L.A. Courier Express are seen again in the first season episodes 'Holiday In The Hills' and 'One More Time'. The shots also turn up in several other shows, such as the first season 'Riptide' episode 'Diamonds Are For Never'.

bullet

Watch the passenger door on the convertible Rambler as Hannibal, Amy and unconscious B.A. arrive at the airport – on the far-off shot (looking through at them from under the jet, as Face runs over to Hannibal) we see Amy close the door; but on the next shot, close up of Face talking to Hannibal, the door is back open and we see it closing again. We hear the sound of it closing the second time but not the first.

bullet

A “blink or you’ll miss it” slight continuity error - in the scene on the jet, after Amy’s misquotes “Women and people of high birth are very trustworthy”, she is looking sideways, up at Hannibal; but in the very next shot from further back, she is looking forwards.

bullet

Shots of the Lear jet, include several shots unused here, appear in the third season episode 'Sheriffs Of Rivertown'.

bullet

The shots of the air controllers in the tower is stock footage that can be seen in episodes of many other shows, including 'The Rockford Files' and 'Knight Rider', and the first season 'Riptide' episode 'Diamonds Are For Never'. It is used again in 'The A-Team'  at the end of the first season's 'The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas'.

bullet

The shot looking out of the cabin behind what’s supposed to be Murdock and Hannibal as the jet is coming in to land at the airport in Mexico is quite clearly stock footage. The two characters seen in the shot don’t even have similar clothing to Murdock and Hannibal; they seem to be dressed in commercial pilots uniforms.

bullet

In the bar fight sequence, George Peppard's stunt double can be spotted several times.

bullet

In the scenes where B.A. is seen wearing his dungarees, they are undone on his right shoulder (left when looking at him). But when himself, Hannibal and Amy are held tied-up outback of the bar, they are suddenly undone on the opposite shoulder. In the next scene, when they are freed, both shoulders are done up.

bullet

The shot of Face in the bi-plane when he drops the papers over the edge, is actually back-to-front – if you freeze-frame at the right moment (or if you just have a particularly sharp eye), you can see that the lettering on the papers is back-to-front! The following shot of Murdock is also reversed (notice his headset suddenly has the microphone on the opposite side).

bullet

When Hannibal is firing down from the bell tower at Valdez and his bandits, the shots of Murdock and Face swooping down in the bi-plane seems to be exactly the same shot from earlier when they came in to land.

bullet

In the section of the armed bus chasing the bandits out of town, on the shot which is looking up at the vehicles from the road (near Valdez crying “Caramba”), watch as after the bus passes, the dust suddenly disappears as the bi-plane flies over. The film was obviously abridged here by a few seconds.

bullet

In  the shot of the armored bus firing it's cannon, causing the jeep to flip over (the shot used at the start of the opening credits on seasons 1-4), there is obviously a ramp hidden behind some foliage to turn the jeep over.

bullet

In the scene, while Hannibal, B.A. and Amy are captured, where Face tries to con Miguel the film commissioner one last time, his final line "...We are out of here" clearly does not match his mouth.

bullet

When Hannibal, B.A. and co. are escaping from the guerrillas, when Hannibal throws a grenade at one of the jeeps causing it to flip over (the shot used at the end of the opening credits on season 1-4) there is again clearly a ramp hidden behind the foliage.

bullet

In the scene when the team are on their way back to the airport, when B.A. is drugged  and falls forwards asleep onto the steering wheel, judging by the position his head hits the wheel there’s no way the horn could sound.

3 CHILDREN OF JAMESTOWN

TAKEN FROM THE EPISODE REVIEW CAPSULE - CLICK HERE TO VISIT FULL CAPSULE

bullet

On the opening trailer, there is a shot from the climax of Martin James clutching a gun his bible and yelling "For I am God, and I will slay them!". This was not used in the actual story.

bullet

In the A-Team van, Hannibal's dialogue as we see the close up of the wheel spike is quite clearly added in in post production, as it sounds different, and then suddenly cuts back to his regular dialogue.

bullet

Nitpick: The team rescue Sheila Rogers from the cult. What about the other 'children'? Were they just going to leave them there?

bullet

This could possibly just be due to the angle, but when the A-Team van races up and stops by the helicopter, it seems to stop much further back than in the next shot.

bullet

An amusing moment - when Hannibal, Face, B.A. and Amy are captured and loaded into the followers' van, one of the followers catches the horn, giving a sudden honk.

bullet

The shots of Hannibal looking around when he arrives at the camp are actually taken from the Pilot where he looks around at the villages that have come to help - notice that the wooden buildings behind him suddenly disappear and there are trees instead.

bullet

In the compound when Hannibal, Face, B.A. and Amy are captured, the shots of the children watching as they are led to the wooden hut are used again as they are "put on trial".

bullet

When Hannibal, Face, Amy and B.A. run off from the dry ravine, as B.A. gets up, something (probably filming equipment) briefly drops into shot in the top right section of the shot for a moment.

bullet

When Hannibal, Face, Amy and B.A. are on the run from the cult, a shot looking up from the road at the jeeps racing along  actually taken from the Pilot where bandits were in the jeeps - if you look carefully, you can see Al Massey's crashed pick-up at the side of the road.

bullet

When they arrive at the Coulton Farm, and we see Face scouting about in the bushes, his dialogue of “... preacher's got one look-out, but that’s all he needs...” is ADR'd. His lips to not seem to match much at all, indicating that the dialogue may have been changed in post-production.

bullet

I'm no gun expert, but when Face is brawling with the Brother outside the farm, the sound effect of the Brother's rifle firing is clearly dubbed on in post-production, as it makes the sound of a completely different firearm, more like a pistol or something.

bullet

When B.A., Hannibal, Amy and the injured Face arrive at Coulton Farm's front door, the shadow of a sound boom can briefly be seen to fall into shot. (Not visible on all prints. If you are watching on DVD, try zooming out)

bullet

Nitpick: When Hannibal and B.A. crash into the camp in the jeep and use the flame thrower, wouldn't they risk hurting the 'children' (who, note, have all suddenly disappeared)?

bullet

One of the big explosions at the compound is recycled later in the season in 'One More Time'.

bullet

After Face launches one of the canisters of gas at a jeep, there is another brief shot similar to those previously recycled from the Pilot, again looking up from the ground.

bullet

When Murdock drops the dynamite down on to the jeeps, the far-off shot shows the helicopter door to be open before he opens it in the close-up.

bullet

In a couple of shots during the climatic battle, if you look very carefully, the flame thrower on the back of the jeep can be seen to be shooting water (unless this was petrol or similar substance that failed to ignite? I think water is more likely around the main actors).

bullet

Something to look out for: In the final scene, when Hannibal walks into Revered James' hut, watch the rest of the team outside in the jeep - Face yanks Murdock's hat off his head and puts it on, and Murdock grabs it back again.

bullet

The shot of the jeep that is seen to flip over at the end of the closing credits is reversed from as it appears in the actual episode.

4.

TAKEN FROM THE EPISODE REVIEW CAPSULE - CLICK HERE TO VISIT FULL CAPSULE

bullet

Not really a double spot as such, but Jase's fighting opponent at the start of the episode is Mr. T's stunt double, Tony Brubaker (He also played the fake B.A. in the memorable third season episode 'Showdown!').

bullet

When B.A. goes to the restaurant to get Hannibal, he is wearing his dungarees. When the pair leave, he is suddenly wearing his denim sleeveless jacket over them.

bullet

When B.A. leads Hannibal from the restaurant to the van, for a brief second before he slides the side door open, the reflections of the filming crew can be seen. (Freeze frame the scene to see this)

bullet

When the van arrives at the library and Amy opens the side down, the back doors are obviously open as light is shining through (presumably so the interior of the van isn't too dark for filming), and you can see the shadow of Face waiting to get out.

bullet

The sequence of the Sheriff’s car, as it races off after pulling B.A., Hannibal and Murdock over, was re-used (from a slightly different camera angle) near the start of the season’s closing episode, ‘A Nice Place To Visit’.

bullet

There is no front license plate on the car that B.A., Hannibal and Murdock race around in; when the car goes to crash into the front of the Sheriff's office, it suddenly has one. When the shot changes to the inside of the office, it has suddenly disappeared again.

bullet

Also, as the car is racing towards the Sheriff’s office, we see a shot of it that is quite clearly taken from the previous section where it was racing through the town street.

bullet

As the car races along, about to smash into the front of the Sheriff's office, as it turns, the shot is reversed - the license plate (the one that disappears and reappears!) is back-to-front.

bullet

....Furthermore, on the exterior shot of the car crashing into the front of the Sheriff's office, the ramp can be seen to slide forward - a piece of wood from it is visible in the bottom right corner.

bullet

Nitpick: We all know that The A-Team never kill anyone, so how did Hannibal know that no-one was on the other side of the wall when he crashes the car into the Sheriff's Office? Another thing that's not to be asked!

bullet

The car smashing into the front of the building was re-used, in a previously unused angle, for the flashback of the team robbing the Bank of Hanoi in the fifth season's 'Trial By Fire'.

bullet

When Sheriff Norm comes into the wrecked Office, the film is reversed back-to-front - notice that his Sheriff's badge is now suddenly on the other side of his uniform!

bullet

Nitpick:  How come no report of members of the team being arrested got back to Colonel Lynch? Surely they were fingerprinted at least after they were arrested – in the third season’s ‘Breakout!’, when B.A. and Murdock are arrested, B.A.’s fingerprints soon reach Colonel Decker. Oh well, such questions are not to be asked!

bullet

Furthermore, Beyond the risk of being arrested, they even use their real names (Hannibal and B.A. are definitely referred to as “John Smith” and “Baracus”).

bullet

When Amy is in Warden Beale's office before Face arrives and the Warden learns towards her, her hair changes - and her parting seems to change position (reversed shot?)

bullet

The exterior shots of the prison are standard stock footage shots, which pop up in many other series and films (such as the 1979 Clint Eastwood film 'Escape From Alcatraz', and which turn up in several episodes of ‘Knight Rider’). Some are used again in The A-Team in the fourth  season episode ‘The Heart Of Rock ‘N Roll’.

bullet

In the scene in the prison yard, where Deke tries to get Hannibal to turn out his pockets, in the shot of B.A. after Hannibal’s line “He’s the tough guy…”, the men standing behind B.A. completely change position. The man standing to the right behind him is right across the other side of the shot on the more far-off shot!

bullet

In the scene in the prison gym where Warden Beale tells Hannibal that B.A. is leaving, Hannibal's arms jump from down at his sides, to having one on his chest, between shots.

bullet

When Face and Hannibal lock Dr. Ericson inside Murdock's cell, her cry of "Hey, what's going on?!" is clearly ADR'd.

bullet

Several of the shots as the prison goes onto alert as the alarm of escape is raised, are quite clearly stock footage shots. The shot of the huge search light being aimed down from the top of a wall clearly is, as the officer by it is wearing a completely different uniform to the officers seen in this episode (it’s black, not grey, for a start).

bullet

After Murdock and Hannibal have escaped from the prison on their 'hot air chairs', it is quite clearly doubles of them being used when Face picks them up in the car.

bullet

A minor continuity error: when Warden Beale is just about to start the fight between Jase and B.A., the man on the far left of the front row behind him can see bending over, betting with the man in front of him. This shot cuts to a close up shot of the front row cheering as the fight starts; in this shit, the man is back crouching over his seat.

bullet

When Face, Hannibal and Murdock arrive outside the barn where B.A. and Jase are being forced to fight, Hannibal has his jacket on. Yet when he goes to the van to get a gun, he (or rather, a double) has no jacket on.

bullet

In addition to the above blooper, we see Hannibal walk round to the side of the van and hear the side-door slide open (we can’t actually see as the camera shot is from the other side of the van), yet in the next shot (with aforementioned body double) we see him open the box under the back seat which houses the guns, which would be accessed through the back doors of the van, not the side-door.

bullet

In the scene in the barn after the A-Team van has burst in, where Face says “All you boys in the front row, you wanna sit down, face the camera?”, followed by a shot of Murdock holding the camera, with Face still visible in the background. Face adds “We wanna give everyone a chance”; visually, we see his mouth move briefly, but has stopped when we hear this line! It was obviously looped in post-production. My lip-reading skills aren’t super, but it looks like he’s saying something like “Face the camera”.

5 A SMALL AND DEADLY WAR

bullet

In the scene after Hannibal, in disguise, has lead Officer Maloney to the back room, watch the shot where B.A. says "And what about your family?" - the audio does not match his face. The audio has him saying it quite calmly, whereas visually he can be seen to snap the line.

bullet

...Furthermore, much of the dialogue from this scene, particularly from Maloney, seems to be re-dubbed in post production; maybe due to a problem on the original audio recording.

bullet

When Face and Amy pose as bug exterminators at the Police headquarters, Face is smoking a cigar, and comments "How can Hannibal stand those things?". Yet in many other episodes (including the very next one broadcast, 'Black Day At Bad Rock'), Face enjoys cigars.

bullet

When B.A., Face and Murdock drop down from the rafters onto the hitmen, it is quite clearly stunt doubles, especially in B.A.'s case - look out for the infamous "Mr. T wig"!

bullet

When Murdock chases Meadows through the amusement park, it is quite clearly stunt doubles. Meadows' double is possibly the same used for Mr. T, Tony Brubaker.

bullet

B.A.'s double can be seen to leap onto the hood of the escaping car at the climax of the episode. However, on the interior shot where B.A. smashes through the windshield, it actually is Mr. T.

bullet

After B.A. has smashed the windscreen, the next shot (with Mr. T's double on the hood) shows the windshield to have what appears to be a stuck on immitation smash!

bullet

In the closing credits, slightly more footage of the car crashing is used. It is seen to have more of a run-up, and a crash cage (to stop the roof from folding in, injuring the driver) can be seen. Also look at the spot where the car starts to turn over - it is build up by sandbags, to hide the ramp behind it.

6 BLACK DAY AT BAD ROCK

bullet

Several far off shots of the bikers on their way to town is stock footage - notice the front wheels are of a different style.

bullet

Near he end of the episode, B.A. removes his big 'T' ring (yes, 'T' even though he is B.A.!) from his thumb as he goes to hit Face. But when he holds his fist up, the ring is suddenly back on again!

7 THE RABBIT WHO ATE LAS VEGAS

bullet

The music as Hannibal, B.A. and Murdock dress the hotel room is recycled from the scene where B.A. follows Joey in 'Pros and Cons'.

bullet

What is supposedly mobster Gianni Christian falling out of the window is quite clearly a dummy.

bullet

In the exterior shot of the helicopter, the double for the professor seems to be wearing comms headphones; the professor, inside the helicopter, isn't.

8 HOLIDAY IN THE HILLS

bullet

The music that plays as the terrorists chase the team as they race in the truck to meet Murdock's plane, was used in 'The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas'. After that, as Murdock lands the plane, music from the Pilot is reused.

bullet

When Face points up to the hills where the plane came over before it crash landed, the shot is quite clearly a frozen still, and you can see the smoke from where the plane had just passed over.

bullet

There appears to be more of the final scene between Amy and Barnes that filmed that was used in the finished episode. We see Amy go into the airport, to put an alert out over the tannoy to warn off the team about Lynch, and we see Barnes go in after her. On the opening trailer, we see a shot of Amy, looking out of the window holding a cup of drink, with Barnes behind her, with Amy innocently asking “The A-Team?”. This wasn’t used in the episode.

9.  THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS

bullet

Nitpick: When the mobsters arrive, Amy tells B.A. that they’re here on here radio, then a few moment later, we hear that she calls Face and Murdock to tell them the same thing. Wouldn't they all be turned to the same radio frequency?

bullet

In one of the most notable bloopers of the series, when Face arrives in the garbage truck, his shirt is red. A few moments later, as he talks to the rest of the team at the rear of the truck, his shirt is suddenly blue.

bullet

Similarly, although more debatable, in the scene inside the shop before the garbage truck arrives, Amy’s hair is down. When they all go outside to see Face and the garbage truck, it becomes tied-back.

bullet

When the garbage truck back's into Struthers's club, as the team go to leave, B.A. can be seen behind Hannibal to close the driver's door. After a shot of Murdock impersonating Porky Pig, the door is open and B.A. goes past Hannibal to get in!

bullet

The bulk of the music used in the street battle at the climax was previously used in 'The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas'. It also loops around several times here.

10 WEST COAST TURNAROUND

bullet

In the shots in the squad car before they take off after the truck, the shots of Face looking diagonally back at Murdock do not seem to have Hannibal and B.A. in the car. Likewise, in the shots of Hannibal and B.A., Face and Murdock do not seem to be in the car.

bullet

When the team are driving the two trucks into the valley, as Hannibal pulls the truck’s horn before crashing the truck though the road-block, the close-up is back-to-front, making it seem as if the chain for the horn on the right side of the truck – it should be the left.

bullet

When the helicopter catches up with the pick-ups that are chasing B.A's rig, (the double for) Face can be seen hanging out of the side of the helicopter, holding a watermelon, long before Hannibal has even suggested it.

bullet

When Hannibal drops a watermelon on Chuck Easterland's pick-up, the windscreen smashes. But if you look quick enough before the pick-up crashes, the windscreen is suddenly intact again.

bullet

The sequence of Easterland's pick-up somersaulting over, is reused in the third season episode 'Fire'.

bullet

After all of the pursuing trucks have been stopped, Face, wearing his leather jacket, leans out of the helicopter and gives B.A. the thumbs up. But in the shot from behind, it is the double of Hannibal, wearing a red jumper and his gloves, that is hanging out giving the thumbs up.

11 ONE MORE TIME

bullet

In the sequence where Hannibal is on the motorcycle, being pursued by Lynch, and on the way to pick up Face, if you look very quickly, there is a very brief shot (looking from the wheel of Lynch's car) where Face is already on the back of the motorcycle.

bullet

It has been debated by fans for some years whether Face, on the back of the motorcycle when it jumps the truck, is a dummy or not.

bullet

The plane that the Government officials take off with Hannibal, Face and B.A. in, is exactly the same plane that Murdock and Amy follow them in. The number on the side is exactly the same!

bullet

In the aeroplane carrying Hannibal, Face and B.A., George Peppard is clearly not present - it is his double, blocked from view. His double also jumps from the aeroplane (on a sound stage), whereas Dirk Benedict and Mr. T perform their own jumps.

bullet

After the sleeping B.A., and Face and Hannibal have exited the plane, watch the plane door carefully - their supply crate can be seen to be pushed out. In the next shot, the Government officials inside the plane pick up the crate and throw it out again.

bullet

When Hannibal, Face and B.A. break into what turns out to be the guerrilla's food store, the shot of the guerrillas running forward has them in a different order to that in which they stand in the doorway.

bullet

The 'make' music, where Hannibal, Face and B.A. turn the bed into a slingshot, is recycled from the make in the Pilot episode, slightly abridged.

bullet

When Face is about to be shot, B.A.’s line “Hey man, hey you can’t do this. I’m gonna make you pay, you hear”, is very jumpy, as if edited together.

bullet

The explosion caused by Amy firing the flare into the canisters, is actually recycled from 'Children of Jamestown'. If you look carefully you can see a religious banner hanging on the side of one of the huts.

bullet

As B.A. grabs the cell door to pull it off it's hinges, his hand grabs the grille in a different place in the close-up shot.

bullet

When Hannibal jumps over the jeep and knocks out Rashaam, it is quite clearly his stunt double.

bullet

When Hannibal and co. make it to the helicopter, there is a shot of the rotors starting up, yet in the next far-off
shot, the rotors clearly aren’t moving.

bullet

The closing credits feature a shot of Face, Hannibal and B.A. sitting at the table after they were captured, where B.A goes to get up and Hannibal settles him down, which was not used in the actual episode.

bullet

...There is also a shot in the guerrilla cell of Hannibal blowing cigar smoke into Rashaam's face that was not used in the episode itself.

12 TILL DEATH DO US PART

bullet

Just before Face gets out of the taxicab going through the carwash, there is a man outside his door wiping down the car. As Face gets out, the man is suddenly at the back of the car.

bullet

The house used for the wedding setting in this episode is used again in the second season episode 'The Taxicab Wars' and the fourth season's 'The Doctor is Out' and (possibly) in the second season's 'Labor Pains'. It was also used for a backdrop for promo shots of Face and his Corvette in the second season. Other appearances include two third season 'Knight Rider' episodes - 'The Ice Bandits' and 'Knight and Knerd'.

bullet

At the start of the second act, as Murdock is getting out of the catering truck and complaining about the colour of his wedding dress, a sound boom can be seen to briefly fall into shot. (This may depend on your exact copy of the episode - sometimes it can be seen, sometimes it can't. On the DVD, try zooming right out to see it)

13 THE BEAST FROM THE BELLY OF A BOEING

bullet

In the shot of B.A. jumping forward on the plane and ordering the hijacker to "drop your gun", his lips do not sync up at all with what he is saying.

bullet

When the aeroplane becomes depressurised, sucking everything out, the double for B.A. can clearly be seen - so much so that there is a visible fold in the 'Mr. T' wig that he is wearing.

bullet

On the closing credits, there is a sequence of Murdock trying to wake B.A. by gnawing at his wrists. This sequence was not used in the actual episode.

14.  A NICE PLACE TO VISIT

bullet

The opening pursuit is a ‘compilation’ of previously used Police chase scenes in the series, taken from ‘The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas’ (some of which was pre-existing stock footage anyway), and the Sheriff's car racing off in ‘Pros And Cons’ (though in a different angle to the one used in that episode).

bullet

In the scene at the Watkins' garage where Hannibal strikes a match on the 'No Smoking' sign to light his cigar, watch the surround of the sign - on the close up of the sign, it has a red border, but on the far off shots, it doesn't. (Spotting this may not be visible on all versions; if you are watching on DVD, zoom out).

bullet

The closing credits show the stunts of The A-Team van crashing, and the Watkins' truck overturning, in more detail.
