Below is a list of all 98 episodes (94 if counting the two-hour episodes as one) of 'The A-Team', complete with original US airdate, production number, plot summaries, detailed cast lists, written by and directed by credits, and key notes. Main cast changes are listed at the points which they occurred.

This guide has been compiled by original research from watching episodes, going through old television listing magazines, and comparing information from a vast array of different sources, and in several different languages (No simple copying and pasting from other sites!!). I believe it to be the most comprehensive 'A-Team' cast listing guide on the Net. A screen-shot or two for each episode will be added in due course.

BROADCAST ORDER - this is the order the the episodes were originally broadcast on NBC on American television. It is often quite different from the order in which they were filmed, although on occasion an episode would noticeably be shown out of sequence. Repeat runs, and particularly overseas broadcasts, are often in yet another order.

Now, they live in the underworld of Los Angeles, occasionally surfacing and re-grouping to tackle cases that take their interest, if the circumstances - and the money - are right…

In this feature-length Pilot episode, newspaper journalist Amy Allen attempts to track down the elusive soldiers of fortune to rescue her missing colleague, who, unbeknown to her, has been captured by bandits while on assignment in Mexico. But proceedings are hampered by Colonel Lynch, who is determined to see the team back behind bars…

	Although not broadcast until 1983, this and the first few episodes were produced in Autumn 1982, and this episode is copyrighted as such.
	Although originally designed and shown as a 2-hour Pilot, this story exists in both feature-length and two-part formats.
	This story was partly filmed in Mexico.
	This Pilot was originally simply titled 'The A-Team'. The episode title 'Mexican Slayride' wasn't added until later, when the series went into syndication. Sometimes, it is still billed simply as 'Pilot'.
	The role of Face was recast after this Pilot when "the powers that be" decided that Tim Dunigan wasn't right for the part. Creators Stephen J. Cannell and Frank Lupo's original choice for the part, Dirk Benedict, finally won the role for the series. For more details, read the series synopsis.
	This is the only episode to not (originally) have any form of regular opening credits. Most later broadcasts, when the episode is shown in two parts, have the first season opening credits (later version, with 'The A-Team' "written in bullets"), with Tim Dunigan in place of Dirk Benedict. There are two versions of this, one with Dunigan's name in Stencil font to match the rest of the opening credits, and a (presumably earlier) version with a completely mis-matched, Times New Roman style font.
	This is the only story until the 5th season revamp that does not include a pre-episode teaser. Various syndicated versions have their own re-cap at the start of the second episode, either before or after the opening credits. Some other stations, such as overseas broadcasts, may use their own constructed re-cap.
	The actress that plays Nurse who shows Colonel Lynch to Murdock's room at the V.A. Hospital is uncredited.
	In a rare instance of a (non main) character appearing more than once, both Philip Sterling (Amy's boss, editor Grant Eldridge) and Colonel Lynch's Aide, Captain Stewart (James Beach), return later in the season in 'Holiday In The Hills'.

	This episode is Copyright 1983, the first episode of the series to be dated with that year. However, some following episodes (produced before this one) still have a 1982 copyright.
	Despite being the first regular episode to be broadcast after the Pilot (in the US at least), this was the third to be filmed. To see the episodes listed in production (i.e.. filming) order, click here.
	Although not the first to be filmed (see above), this is the first episode where Dirk Benedict is seen on-screen in the role of Face. It is also the first time B.A.'s van is seen.
	The regular opening credits are also seen for the first time (although syndicated versions of the Pilot use them, with Tim Dunigan in place of Dirk Benedict, see above). The opening dialogue throughout the first season begins "10 years ago...", even though the series was not broadcast until 1983. (This is due to the very early episodes being produced in 1982).
	The in-episode credits are in an 'Arial' font for this episode. Only one other episode, 'The Rabbit Who Ate Last Vegas'  (the episode produced before this one), uses this font, although some in-episode captions (place names, etc.) in other first season episodes are also in Arial.
	This episode is the most evident of Murdock quickly being "written back in" to the plot, after the character, originally intended to be a semi-regular or possibly dropped completely, proved so popular at test showings of the Pilot.
	One or two sources mis-credit Gerrit Graham as playing a Brother Graham. This seems to be due to a mix up with the actor's name.

	This episode is Copyright 1982.
	Although shown second, this was actually the first episode to be produced after the Pilot (and thus was the first episode with Dirk Benedict in the role of Face).
	Other than the opening credits, this episode uses the same font as the Pilot, the only regular episode of the series to do so.
	For many years, Jase Tataro was mis-spelt 'Jose' in countless episode guides. It was a long-running typographical error that was passed down through numerous sources.
	The spelling of Warden Beale varies between 'Beal' and 'Beale' in different sources. The DVD subtitles offer no clue as the to the correct spelling, as some languages spell it with the 'e', whereas others do not!
	In the United Kingdom, where, as with many imported US series of the era, the episode broadcast order often varied from the US broadcasts, this was the first episode that many regions broadcast after the Pilot, on Friday 29th July 1983. (However, some regions took different episodes, such as 'Black Day At Bad Rock').

	Jack Ging (after playing another villain in the second season episode 'Bad Time On The Border') would go on to play the recurring role of General Harlan "Bull" Fulbright in the fourth season, first appearing in the episode 'Mind Games'.
	Frequent guest star Ismael Carlo uses his alternative credited name, East Carlo, for this episode.

	This episode is unique in that Amy has her own, separate storyline. She does not come into direct contact with the team for the entire episode.
	In a rare instance of a (non main) character reappearing, Philip Sterling appears once again as Amy's boss, Grant Eldridge, and James Beach as Captain Stewart, after both appearing in the Pilot.
	In an uncommon reference to a specific previous episode, Amy says that she is writing up her report on "the Jamestown incident", an obvious reference to the events of 'Children Of Jamestown'.
	A chunk of footage from the opening of this episode was recycled in the 'missing' fifth season episode 'Without Reservations', to full the running time in order to make the episode long enough for broadcast. (The footage of the plane seems even more familiar, as not only was it used in 'flashback' in the second season's 'Curtain Call', but was recycled for several other episodes (the second season's 'In Plane Sight', the third season's 'Skins' and the fifth season's 'The Crystal Skull'), not to mention being used in other series, such as 'Knight Rider', and 'Riptide''s first season episode 'Long Distance Daddy'.)

	This is the first episode of the series without Melinda Culea as Amy Allen (though if the production codes are completely true, 'Semi-Friendly Persuasion', shown near the end of the season, was produced before it. There is some contradictions as to if it was produced this early though).
	This episode marks the first use of the re-edited version of the second season credits, removing Melinda Culea and adding more shots of the other characters instead.
	Some sources list Luke Andreas' character in this episode as being called Jules. Awaiting confirmation, but I believe McGreavey to be correct (unless Jules is his first name?).
	Some sources list Luke Andreas as playing a character named Jilly in this episode. This seems to be a confusion with the name of the character that he played in the first season episode 'The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas'.
	A couple of sources credit Michael Allderidge playing a character called Don in this episode. This is incorrect, Michael Allderidge does not appear in this episode; he plays a character named Don in 'Recipe For Heavy Bread' earlier in the season.
	Hannibal, in the guise of a CIA hit-man, mentions in passing a character named "Crazy Tommy T" in 'The Rabbit Who Ate Las Vegas'. As both episodes are written by Frank Lupo, this seems just to be recycling of a name rather than foresight of the character's appearance in this episode.

	This episode introducers new (semi) regular Marla Heasley (who had played a different role in 'Bad Time On The Border' earlier in the season) as reporter Tawnia Baker, brought in to replace the departed Melinda Culea (Amy).
	The second version of the 2nd season opening credits (featuring just the four main members of the team) are retained and stay until the end of the season. Heasley never had her name added to the opening credits, and instead always receives 'Also Starring' credit directly after the episode title and before the Guest Star cast, for all the episodes she appears in. Although with a couple of exceptions, she generally doesn't feature in stories as heavily as Amy, and doesn't appear in two episodes during her time on the show ('Harder Than It Looks' and 'Semi-Friendly Persuasion').
	Although this is the first time Tawnia is seen on-screen, 'Pure-Dee Poison' was actually the first episode that Marla Heasley filmed in the role.
	This is also the last time that Amy is mentioned in the series, said to be a colleague of Tawnia's.

It was the highest audience achieved by a repeated episode, actually getting more viewers (just) than the previous year's most watched, first-run episode, the fifth season's 'Trial By Fire'. 1987 would be the last year that the series made the viewing charts in the UK.

This episode introduces another (would be) Military pursuer, Charles Napier as Colonel Briggs, but as it turned out, it was the only episode ever to feature or even mention the character. In hindsight, it would seem that the character is just a temporary replacement for Colonel Decker; Briggs seems very much a Decker clone in mannerisms and even looks. Presumably Lance LeGault was unavailable for this episode, quite possibly filming due to filming an episode of 'Magnum, p.i', in which he had a recurring role as Colonel Buck Greene.

A couple of sources credit W.K. Stratton's role in this episode as Captain Royce. Royce is the (similar) character he plays in a few episodes time, in 'Showdown!'; the name 'Captain Ross' has been confirmed for this episode.

	William ('Bill') Lucking makes a (surprise) return to play original pursuer Colonel Lynch for one last time in this episode. It is the last time the character is seen (or mentioned) in the series. As with Colonel Briggs' lone appearance a few episodes earlier in 'Fire', part of Lynch's sudden return may well be due to Lance LeGault (Decker) being unavailable.
	While Hannibal's impostor is played by a regular actor (John Carter, who also plays different characters in the first season episode 'Children of Jamestown' and the fifth season's 'Alive At Five', as well as an uncredited cameo at the end of the fourth season's 'The Doctor Is Out'), the impostors for B.A. and Face are played by Mr. T and Dirk Benedict's stunt doubles. Both are uncredited on-screen.
	In 'Fire', W.K. Stratton played another Military Captain. Although at first appearance he might seem to be playing the same character here, the two characters actually have different names.
	This was not only the U.K.'s most watched episode of 1984, but the country's most watched episode of the series ever, on it's original broadcast on Saturday 29th December at 6:05 pm (ITV), clocking up 16.6 million viewers, coming 2nd in the viewing figures for that week. Also to note was that it was broadcast just over a month after the US broadcast - in the days before $ky were around to buy up and hog everything!
